Thanks to an initiative begun by singer Willie Nelson and the Farm Aid
organization, Kansas Ecumenical Ministries offers emergency assistance
grants to Kansas farm families. The Farm Aid in Kansas Fund is
supplemented by donations from Kansas denominations, congregations,
groups and individuals.
Grants are made up to $500. Screening is done by K-State and referrals
then made to KEM. To apply for a grant all one needs to do is make a
